Roads & Highways

DEC builds high-quality structures with materials provided from our four (4) asphalt plants.

Laser-guided paving techniques are used to lay bitumen asphalt, crumb rubber asphalt, and polymer-modified asphalt (“superpave”).

Bridges

Using materials sourced from our own four (4) Asphalt Plants, DEC constructs the highest quality:

Bitumen asphalt, crumb rubber asphalt and polymer-modified asphalt (“superpave”) are laid with laser-guided paving techniques.

Drainage

Drainage projects, large or small, are executed with quality, health, safety and overall client satisfaction as top priorities. DEC has installed tens of thousands of meters of large and small diameter pipelines while achieving millions of consecutive working hours without Loss Time Incidents.

Water Project

DEC specializes in the design and construction of subterranean, above ground, and elevated water structures, as well as the accompanying pipelines and mains. These reservoirs, which are often rectangular or circular in shape, are designed for potable water and built using cutting-edge technology, commonly in pre-stressed, post-tensioned concrete.

Power Cable Projects

All underground high voltage transmission and distribution networks, including substations, are installed by DEC. The insulated electric lines are buried underground utilizing various trenching and back-filling procedures to enhance lifetime under Qatar’s circumstances.

Micro-Tunneling

DEC is Qatar’s leading expert in micro-tunneling and boasts a large fleet of the world’s best machines from USA, Italy and Germany. This technology allow for indefinite shaft depth with remotely operated, nondestructive underground tunnels up to four meters (4m) in diameter.

Horizontal Directional Drilling

DEC is one of the few local organizations that does remotely steerable and trenchless boring to construct underground pipes, conduits, cables, and other utilities for a variety of applications. These HDD lines have diameters ranging from 100 to 1,000 mm and are ideal for pipes made of any material.
